i have a Hog guitar syn that came with an m-audio exp pedal.M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal(they should be ashamed of themselves) It broke like everybody elses. It worked pretty good but when u take it apart and look at the plastice piece that breaks, u wont buy another one either. So i bought this one. I had to make a cable and reverse the wires, i used stereo headphone jacks and and headphone cable cut into and and reversed the wires. If i had been smarter i could have used the wire from the m-audio pedad with mini headhpne jacks i/8 inch pluch the regular ones 1/4 with i/8 adapter but i was so upset i threw the whole thing out without thinking! I actually prefer the throw or the distance on the old pedal but i guess u cant have every thing. its very smooth. Ive tried it as a volume control also , seems to work but i dont use it for that. Most behringer stuff u will luv it or send it back right away from what ive heard. im an amateur, i have some mikes, a midi foot controller fcb1010 , a condenser preamp, i havent sent anything back yet. Their equimpent is a little Spartan sometimes but if u know what your getting usually u wont be disapointed at the price of their stuff to the competiton.
I got this pedal recently. All in all, it’s a pretty nice device, expecially for the price. Seems solid and well-made. It has a nice big pedal for big feet. It works smoothly. I have found no drawbacks to the operation or quality of this pedal. My only gripe, is that the power for the pedal is either by an internal 9V battery, or a 12V plug in power supply. Why the difference? The really bad part (for me) is that I bought this to install in a newly-purchased Behringer pedal board, which comes with a 9V power supply. So, in order for me to use this pedal in the board, I will have to run two different power supplies, or run the pedal on battery and everything else off of the pedalboard’s power supply. [Behringer...this was not thought out very well.] I’m now in the process of making myself an voltage adapter, but finding all the right parts has proven so far to be a hassle. Bottom line: the pedal itself is great, but the power supply thing could be a frustration to you.

One final note about Behringer…they seem to get bad marks now and then. I really don’t understand why. I have two Behringer amps, two of their stomp boxes, the above-mentioned pedal board, and the volume pedal just discussed. I really like all of them. I have never had any problem with any of these items. They perform well, are well made, and certainly, all came at a reasonable price. Behringer’s full range of products is so extensive, that I see little reason to buy any other brand. I’m sticking with them. This versatile pedal works equally well as a volume pedal or a modulation pedal.

Routing Options Galore
The FCV100 can accommodate two mono or one stereo instrument via dual 1/4-inch INPUT jacks. By switching into NORM mode, the FCV100 is capable of controlling the volume of two individual instruments. In CV mode the FCV100 can control modulation and volume levels of other musical instruments by connecting OUTPUT 2 to the volume or modulation input of the instrument. In CV mode, when OUTPUT 2 is in use, INPUT/OUTPUT 1 can still be used for controlling the volume of another instrument, similar to NORM mode.

It’s Easy!
Once you have determined your hookup configuration, simply depress the pedal to increase sound, then rock back on your heel to decrease the sound. By turning the MIN VOL control, you can determine the minimum volume you wish to achieve.

Powering Options
You can power this pedal with a 12 V DC Power adapter (not included) or a 9V battery.

I have not taken my daughter on any serious hikes yet but I plan on using it on vacation to Thailand. So far she seems to like it and I mostly use it to walk my stairs for exercise, or walking to the grocery store. She has not had to be in it for long period so I can’t say how much we are going to like it beyond our short jaunts. What I can say is I dislike the position of the strap adjusting buckle. It rubs right on the delicate skin on the inside of my arm. I think I will have to create a sleeve of soft material to cover the strap so when I arm rubs it will not feel so abrasive. Other then that I love where it sits on my body and I can carry my daughter with ease. Another reviewer had said that it is hard to close the stabilizing leg but I don’t have that problem, there is a piece of cloth that runs between the many frame and the stabilizer leg which you can gentle tug on and the leg folds in easily. The leg also seems to be spring loaded so opening it is just as easy, just a little flick outward and it pops open. I am interested to see how it will work for us while on safaris, mountain treks, and all the other things we will do in the 100+ weather of Thailand. I absolutely HATE THIS TOY!

I bought it for my 8 month old boy, so he could play with it when he stayed at his cradle.

Unfortunately, this toy is very badly engineered! The first time my boy played with it, we pulled the white top part with his hands, it fell back and crushed against his little face.

I was absolutely terrified when I saw the skin around his left eye growing purple to the size of a berry, while the poor baby cried his lungs out.

Thank God, nothing happened to his eyeball, but he’s now with a big swollen purple area all around it.

I am returning this toy TODAY, and I strongly advise careful parents NOT TO BUY this for their babies.
